What will you do as an Automation Engineer?
In this role you will work on the design, modification and integration of automation and SCADA systems. Your tasks include setting up control logic, configuring networks, and ensuring safe and reliable operation of installations. You’ll prepare technical documentation, support testing phases (FAT, HAT, SAT) and monitor system performance on-site. Collaboration with project teams, clients and suppliers is an essential part of the job, as well as contributing to continuous improvements and innovative solutions.
Additionally, your responsibilities include:
- Develop and modify control solutions for machinery and large installations;
- Implement improvements and optimizations to existing systems;
- Design, calculate, and program electrical and control solutions from requirements to implementation;
- Set up and align interfaces and communication structures to ensure reliable operation;
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications and documentation to support design, testing, and handover;
- Support testing and commissioning phases and provide on-site troubleshooting when needed;
- Review supplier deliverables and coordinate technical topics with clients and multidisciplinary project teams;
- Contribute to standardisation and continuous improvements across projects.
