What will you do as a Mechanical Supervisor?
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead a diverse group of mechanical professionals, specializing in areas such as rotating equipment, piping, mechanical, and static equipment. Your day starts with coordinating work distribution and ends with checking the quality of the work, always keeping safety and efficiency in mind.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and coaching the mechanical team to achieve project goals;
- Directing and coordinating on-site contractors to ensure smooth project execution;
- Monitoring compliance with safety regulations and ensuring all team members work according to the relevant laws and regulations;
- Requesting and managing work permits to ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with regulations;
- Reporting to the project manager on the project’s progress, challenges, and achievements;
- Evaluating team members and providing feedback to improve their performance and support their professional development;
- Planning and organizing daily tasks, including creating work schedules and assigning duties.
